There are certain foods which can be used to increase your body’s fat burning capabilities. If added into your diet they will contribute to your fat loss.
Certain foods have a very high thermogenesis effect, so you literally scorch calories as you chew. Making little changes can add up to big results.
My top 3 fat burning food:
1. Chillies. They increase your metabolism and endorphins in your body. They contain beta- carotene and a unique family of phytochemicals called capaincnoids, of which capsaicin is the heat producing compound. These stimulate the release of endorphins by binding heat sensors on the tongue.
Spice up your stir fries, omelettes, add seeds too!
2. Cinnamon. It can be used in any dishes, savoury or sweet. The active components may help the insulin to metabolise sugar more efficiently and keep the blood sugar levels low. It also has some effect on blood fats, reducing the bad cholesterol (LDL).
3. Wholegrains. Your body burns twice as many calories breaking down whole foods ( especially those rich in fiber).
DON’T FORGET YOUR WATER!!!!! Water is absolutely necessary for your body to function optimally. Not getting enough water contribute to weight gain and bloat, so why don’t we drink enough. I hear people say “I don’t really like water” . They are more happy to drink things full of sugar and synthetic which cause havoc to the body. If you don’t like plain water, add some fruit or lemon, mint, or even ginger. Aim to drink at least 6-8 glasses per day.
